Wonderfully Wooly

Shirley’s fluffy white fleece is made from a 100% wool pile fabric containing over 70% British wool, while her black face, ears and limbs are crafted from 100% wool fabric. Her soft, plump filling is 100% British wool, creating a naturally cosy, eco-friendly companion (free from
synthetic stuffing) while supporting sheep farmers and promoting the beauty of Britain’s best home-grown fibre.

Substantially Safe

At approximately 50 cm head to tail and weighing approx. 1.5 kg, Shirley is certainly substantial! Tested to EN 71 standards, she is safe from birth (0+), with a recommended age of 3 years and over.

Hand Filled and Finished

Each toy is machine stitched and hand finished to Wool Hugger’s exacting standards, ensuring durability and the gentle softness that only wool can offer. Made using renewable natural materials, Shirley is a sustainable choice for families and collectors alike.

In 2025, Shaun turns 30, having made his debut appearance in Wallace & Gromit: A Close Shave (1995). Since then, he has been a children’s favourite with 6 series, 2 Christmas specials and 2 movies, with a 3rd due for 2026 (Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom).
